Comprehensive Zoning By-law Review

The Town of Wasaga Beach has begun a comprehensive review of its Zoning By-law. The Zoning By-law regulates the use of all land in Wasaga Beach. It divides land into different zones such as residential, commercial, and employment, and tells the reader what uses are permitted and where buildings can be located on a property. This project involves preparing a new Zoning By-law that will implement the Town’s forthcoming new Official Plan.

Throughout the project, opportunities for public and stakeholder consultation will be held to inform changes to the Zoning By-law and understand how the Town can respond to new trends and changes in land use planning.
