Introduction

With the new Gateway Casino in the west end of Wasaga Beach set to open soon, the Town of Wasaga Beach has to determine how it will use its portion of the casino revenue.

Please tell us how you think the casino funds should be used.

Options include:

• Using some of the funds to pay down the debt;
• Allocating a specific amount of the revenue for community social programs that address responsible gambling;
• Allocating a specific amount of funding towards special council projects;
• Allocating funds for annual capital projects, such as new playground equipment, new sidewalks or infrastructure (roads) etc.;
• Allocating funds for economic development initiatives.
