It's time for a zero percent increase in the municipal portion of our property tax bill. Over the last 4 years, your tax increases have added almost 25% to our tax bill. With almost 8,000 seniors, we cannot afford this any longer. Time to tighten your belts. Start by having only one CAO. Council should take a voluntary 10% cut. Time to also review staffing levels as this town seems bloated with employees especially in administration. Beware of the voters if another tax increase is implemented. You have not done your jobs as stewards of our finances.

I think the residents need a tax break this year. Is there no way to fund this years budget without any more of a tax burden on the residents?
